What to bring on a ghost hunt and the equipment we use.
The Bare Minimum:
• Digital Camera
• SD Cards and batteries for your camera and
equipment
• Flashlight w/spare batteries.
-Flash lights must have red lens.
• Notebook w/pens and pencils and log sheets or
hand- held recorder
Common Sense Items:
• First Aid Kit
• Cell phone
• Food and/or water
• Baggies and/or clear containers for evidence
• Watch
• Toilet Paper/Paper Towels
Optional & More Advanced Items (Depending on Investigation & Experience):
• Motion Detectors such as REM-POD, etc.
• Barometer (cold spots will also have strange pressure
readings)
• Electromagnetic Field Detector (EMF) – Please be
mindful that this type of equipment could cause
disturbances in some areas with certain equipment
• Night Scope, Infrared device(s), FLIR
• Video Cameras
• 2-Way Radios
• Ovilus, K2, Ghost Meter, Spirit Box, Tri-field Meter
• Candles & matches/lighter (batteries often run low so
you may run out)
• Compass (spirits often mess up the normal magnetic
fields)
• Thermometer (to detect rapid temperature drops and
cold spots)
• Any other equipment as cleared through
